What we collect, why, and how to control it. Last updated July 2026.

What we collect

  • Information you submit through our forms, including the consultation form (name, email, phone, and your event details — your vision, priorities, budget range, and what matters to you).
  • Information clients enter into our client portal (vendor names, budgets, timeline tasks).
  • Cookies: we don't use tracking or advertising cookies. If we run a site experiment (an A/B test) we set our own first-party cookies — a visitor id and a per-experiment cookie — only to keep your experience consistent and improve the site; never shared.
  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamp) — kept 90 days for security.

What we do with it

  • Respond to your inquiry and coordinate your event.
  • Send relevant follow-up emails (which you can unsubscribe from anytime).
  • Comply with our legal record-keeping obligations as a Florida LLC.

Who helps us run this

A few trusted services process your information on our behalf — they don't own it and we don't let them sell it:

  • Calendly — our scheduling tool. When you book a call, it collects your name, email, and the time you pick.
  • Our website and email hosts — to run the site and reply to you.
  • Google Fonts — loads our typeface; your browser's IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
  • Our client-portal host — where your event details live after you book with us.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to coordinate your event and meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete it.

Minors

Some of our events (like quinceañeras) involve minors. We only collect a minor's information with a parent's involvement, and we never publish a minor's full name or photos without written parental consent.

Sensitive information

For some events you may share sensitive details — dietary restrictions, allergies, or accessibility or medical needs — so we can plan around them. We treat these with extra care: we use them only to coordinate your event, share with each vendor only what they need to know (a caterer needs the allergy, not the reason), and the most sensitive family details are handled offline, not in our online systems.

How we protect it

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to Jessica and the systems that need it, and the most sensitive details kept offline. No system is perfectly secure, but we take real steps to protect what you share.

If there is ever a data breach

If a data breach ever affected your personal information, we will notify you and take the steps Florida law requires (the Florida Information Protection Act).

What we do NOT do

  • Sell your information to third parties. Ever.
  • Share your portfolio photos without your written opt-in.
  • Track you across other websites with marketing pixels.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe from marketing at any time — email Jessica@monarchcelebrations.com. We will respond within 30 days; we may need to verify your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Florida Attorney General's office.
